Effects of Measure A:
- A 325% increase in City Council annual salary
- A $117,000 additional annual tax payer funded expense
- Salary is subject to recalculation up to a 5% annual inflation readjustment
- Can only be amended, adjusted, or revoked by another voter amendment to the city charter.
Measure A would give members of the City Council, and only the City Council, a 325% raise.
Not double. Not even triple. 325%.
